CATTIN
TSAI

Cattin Tsai 蔡琪玟 (b. 1998) is an interdisciplinary multimedia artist and the founder of A.G.N. Visual Lab. Born in Quanzhou, China, she currently lives and works between Hangzhou and Shanghai.

Her practice brings together anthropology, corporeality, alien-biological construction, visual archaeology, and futurist narrative. Working across moving image, installation, sound, and generative digital art, Tsai constructs visual systems situated between oceanic civilization, technological mythology, and posthuman life.

Her works have been presented at the Arsenale in Venice, Madison Square in New York, London, Hong Kong, Malaysia, as well as Tank Shanghai, West Bund Art Center, K11, and OōEli in Hangzhou, among other venues.
